Player Bio

Aidan Toua re-signed with the St.George Queensland Reds for 2019 after he made his return to Ballymore in 2018 following a four year absence.

During that time the exciting outside back earned 30 Super Rugby caps with the Brumbies and completed a stint with the Honda Heat in Japan’s Top League.

Toua is a product of the Queensland pathway and has returned home to Brisbane where he was first recognised as a schoolboy sensation for Anglican Church Grammar School. His performances at a schoolboy level saw Toua progress through the Queensland pathway to the Australian Schoolboys and Australian U20s sides.

Returned to the Reds for the first time since 2014, earning a further 13 caps and reaching his 50th match of Super Rugby.
2011 - 2014
Aidan made his Queensland and Super Rugby debut from the bench in the opening game of the 2011 season against the Wester Force. During his time at the Reds, Toua was well known for his speed and flair but injury limited him to just two appearances in 2011, during the Reds’ Super Rugby Championship winning campaign.

In 2013, Toua was named Easts Player of the Year, despite missing the final with a fractured eye socket.
