Player Bio

Liam Wright joins the St.George Queensland Reds senior squad for the first time in 2018, after what can only be described as an incredible 2017.

The 20-year-old flanker’s 2017 season included an undefeated national title with the Queensland U20s, Player of the Year honours with the Australian U20s, a National Rugby Championship title with Bond University Queensland Country, an exhibition game for Australia against the Barbarians and a call up to the Wallabies spring tour as a development player.

Wright has spent the past two years working closely with incoming Reds head coach Brad Thorn in both the Queensland U20s and Queensland Country set up and will be hoping to add ‘Super Rugby player’ to his already impressive list of achievements.
