Level 1 Coaching Accreditation

It is recommended that anyone interested in gaining Level 1 Coach accreditation attend a Foundation Course - not only does this provide you with in-depth modules on all elements of the game, but the course also provides SmartRugby, coaching resources and a free Level 1 Field Assessment. It also meets the criteria for those wishing to gain ASC accreditation.

Steps to level 1 accreditation

1. Complete Foundation or Coaching Kids Rugby course

3. Complete post-course online coaching exam

For access to online coaching exam, please contact Game Development Manager Education, Pathways and Rugby Services, Lachlan Parkinson on 3354 9323 or lachlan.parkinson@qru.com.au

4. Complete a Field Assessment (training session) - contact Education & Pathways Manager, Lachlan Parkinson

All accreditation lasts for 4 years and all coaches must maintain their SmartRugby qualification every 2 years.

Note: To complete your Level 1 Coach Accreditation you must be 15 years of age.
