The Barraclough Shield

The Barraclough Shield has been contested annually between NSWSRU and Queensland Suburban Rugby Union (QSRU) since 1966.  NSWSRU has won the Barraclough Shield on 40 occasions, QSRU five and with three draws.

The Barraclough Shield is named after Lindley John Forbes (John) Barraclough AM (1926-2005) a former NSW MP and stalwart of NSW Suburban Rugby.
